This includes the use of a person’s fingerprints, iris, ears, face, fully body information, gait, voice, and other traits within biometric systems for security and general applications. Emerging techniques, such as situational awareness, soft biometrics, fusion techniques, as well as single-modality techniques are welcomed, along with data that is real (e.g., photographic) or has been constructed in some way (e.g., from human memory). The workshop will be organized into a set of oral presentations, followed by a general discussion. Papers in any of these (or associated) areas are welcome.IMPORTANT DATESDeadline for paper submission:April 30, 2012Notification of acceptance:May 15, 2012Final manuscript submission:June 31, 2012Papers are due on April 25, 2012, and should be 4 pages long in the CPS two-column styled format.
