Information for authors
Prospective authors are invited to submit their papers electronically, 4 pages in Conference Publishing Services (CSP)
conference format. Publication templates are available for LaTeX and MS Word.
The papers will be reviewed for technical merit and content and the accepted papers will appear in the proceedings, to be
published by CPS. Accepted publications are submitted for indexing through INSPEC®. All CPS conference publications
are also submitted for indexing to EI’s Engineering Information Index, Compendex®, (Elsevier), and ISI Thomson’s Scientific
and Technical Proceedings®, ISTP®/ISI Proceedings, and Current Contents on Diskette® (ISI Thomson).
A number of papers will be selected for revision and publication in a SERSC open access journal. There will also be an
opportunity for extended papers to appear in a special issue of the Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized
Computing, published by Springer.
Submission opening: February 15.
Please use our OpenConf management system to submit and review conference papers.
Information for Authors of Accepted Papers
Please see the EST 2013 "Author's Final Paper Formatting and Submission Instructions" from Conference Publishing
Services (CPS) to prepare your final, camera-ready manuscript. The final PDF version of your submission must pass IEEE
PDF eXpress compliance check (please use est13x as the conference ID).
As stated in the CPS instructions, the deadline for submitting the final, camera-ready version of your manuscript is Saturday,
June 8th, 2013. In order for your paper to be included in the Conference Proceedings, you must fill out and submit the IEEE
Electronic Copyright Form, so please take just a few minutes right now to look over publication guidelines to make sure you
are aware of all requirements and due dates.
Please do not forget to register (early registration deadline is July 30, 2013)
Workshop proposals
Prospective organizers of special sessions should submit their proposals to adrian.stoica@jpl.nasa.gov with the title,
description and key focus areas of the workshop, organizer’s credentials and contact info.
